Born in 1963, Laurent Vanlian started the antique trade in 1983 by importing antique furniture from England, Spain, Portugal and Holland in his local Seine and Marne near Fontainebleau. In 1993, he moved to Saint-Ouen at the Marché Paul Bert where he developed an activity specializing in antique lighting from the 19th century and furniture and objects from the 18th and 19th centuries, while focusing on the creations of large Parisian houses of the second half of the nineteenth. He exhibited in 2010 at the springboard of the Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris objects from Geoffroy Dechaume. Today, he vividly defends the furniture and objects of this period with great French and international decorators, as well as private collectors.
