“GAULOIS” N°3 automatic repeating pistol, coin purse case.
France 19th century
Steel and ebonite
Length: 13cm – Caliber 8mm


Round barrel, rifled, mirror; brass handlebars. Marked on the top GAULOIS. Etched and bronzed finish
Bronzed carcass and mechanically engraved with an ornamental decoration, marked on the top: N°2 and Cal.8mm. As well as the brand of MANUFACTURE D’ARMES et CYCLES de SAINT-ETIENNE. The left side has the letters S, F and D circled.
Marbled breech. Black checkered ebonite handle, with the number 8634 and the letter R.
The number 25203 is found on the interior side of the carcass and the cover plate. Numerous control marks.
The number 3 is also engraved under the frame.
