COURT SWORD in silver, decorated with profiles of Caesar

Silver and steel
Long. : 92.5; Long. blade: 74.5 cm
Chiseled olive pommel, with two medallions presenting profiles including one of Caesar, which we find on the joining arch. The latter is entirely chiseled; quillon in a drop of water. Body knot on each side of a profile in a crowned medallion. Rivet button.
Top with two openwork chiseled bridges, with on the exterior and interior faces the profiles in crowned medallions of a helmeted soldier, two Caesars, a wise man; rockery surround.
Silver fuse, with alternating silver wire filigree.
Blade with slightly engraved central edge, slightly blackened with oxidation.
Good condition.
