FOLDING KNIFE called Navaja

Toledo, Spain

Brass, steel, scale and bone

Long. total: 43.7 cm; Long. blade: 20.5 cm

Folding knife with slightly leafy blade in single-edged steel, ending in a point, marked “BEAUVOIR” in capital letters.

Its handle, finished in a “rattlesnake tail”, is made up of riveted pieces of brass, bones with floral and plant motifs and tortoiseshell, one inlaid with a coat of arms.
