Necessary box containing a pair of pistols signed DUON in Nancy

Steel, wood.
Total length: 39.5cm - Barrel length: 21.5cm - Caliber: 8mm


Barrel with sides, rifled with dovetail mounted front sights. Breech tails engraved with scrolls and numbered 1 & 2.
Front plates, with flat bodies, signed DUON in NANCY, engraved with scrolls. Finely engraved hammers.
Finger rest bridges, engraved afterwards.
Pommels engraved in sequence and underlined with a border, guilloche screws.
Carved walnut frames.
Very good working condition.

Waxed oak box, brass handle on top; interior lined with green velvet with its accessories: Hammer, assembly key, powder flask, bullet mold, measuring rod, lock key.
45.5 x 25 (accident at the lock)
