Roman style in monobloc brass with symmetrical cruise and handle decorated with 18 rows of scales, with three steel rivets. Strong, deeply chiseled pommel on each side of a large fleur-de-lis; it is surmounted by a dome receiving the riveting button.
Cruise marked with a star on each of the quillons, and struck in the center with the number 839.

Double-edged symmetrical steel blade hollowed out with three hollow sides on each side; heel marked "Manufacture Royale du Klingenthal 1818"; it is hallmarked by the director of the Klingenthal manufactory JI KRANTZ (September 1816-February 1819), and barely visible: the reviser FL LOBSTEIN (June 1811-July 1821) and the hallmark of the first class controller JC BICK (May 1815- August 1824).
Original leather tie.

Model 1816 scabbard in blackened leather with two brass fittings, globular dart, trigger guard.
