Stylus with scabbard, South Italy
Steel, horn, silver, shagreen
Long. T .: 26.2cm; L. of stylus: 25cm
L. of blade: 15.5cm - Width. At heel: 2.4cm

Double-edged steel blade with central grooves, one of which is engraved: HORACE SABASTIANI DE LA PORTA.
Strong ricasso with volutes and engraved with a frieze; three-degree walnut.
Hilted handle, chiseled horn spindle in relief and adorned with an applied engraved silver decoration.
The bolster and the ferrule are in silver and engraved afterwards. Steel tray with silk rivet button.

Scabbard with cape in shagreen, cap and cap in silver.

Very good condition.
