SWORD at the "Taza"
Toledo, Spain, late 17th century
Iron and steel
L .: 105cm; L. blade width: 88.5cm

Sword with hemispherical iron shell hilt with fully openwork foliage motifs, branch with long straight quillons ending in a button, onion pommel engraved with a volute decoration, oval fusée filigree with twisted wire.
Steel blade with diamond-shaped section and central gutter at the heel, signed and located in capital letters "Sebastiano Ernandez" and "in Toledo".

Blade in its entire length.
Very good state of conservation.
