Traces of marking on the base

(accidents and restoration)

Italian majolica with slightly hemmed neck and curved belly decorated in a polychrome manner with flowers on a blue background and an oval medallion with a radiant yellow outline depicting Saint Benedict. The abbot wears a white cowl, a black cape, beard and halo. He holds a crozier in his right hand and, in the other, the work he wrote: the rule of Saint Benedict.
