The one-kilogram, or two-pound, circular stack consists of nine concentric brass weighing weights nesting one inside the other. Each weight is equal to the sum of all the weights it can hold.
It was from 1799 that one-kilogram bucket batteries appeared .
It is marked with different hallmarks including a galloping horse, a “B”, an “r”.
