Magnificent secretaire with flap from the Louis XVI period from the end of the 18th century.
It has a magnificent curling work (marquetry) giving a beautiful cross appearance on the rosewood front and rosewood frame.
The flap discovers a box made up of six drawers and three storage spaces.
The inside of the flap is sheathed in fawn leather decorated with iron gilding and patinated.
The lower part is composed of two doors revealing a shelf space.
This cutaway secretaire is adorned with light bronzes giving it a very special elegance.
Finally, a Saint Anne marble, cut by hand, subtly tops this desk secretary.
