Description

André Sornay developed a system for rapid assembly of furniture for which he filed the various patents between 1953 and 1955, which he called the “Tigette Sornay”. This process is the basis of the entire so-called “kit” furniture system used today. The assembly of the cabinet is limited to the assembly of a rear frame provided with threaded inserts intended to receive the rods and a front frame. The nuts are left visible on the front.
