Very beautiful light from a Breton coast, oil on beautiful mahogany panel, in perfect original condition, two Breton women walking among the rocks, at the end of the day in the setting sun with pink tones mingling with the dark grays of a sky turned stormy.. Signed lower and left: F.FLEURY.
Fanny Fleury (1848-1923) was a student of Carolus Duran and Jean Jacques Henner. She exhibited at the Salon from 1869 to 1882. She painted numerous portraits of Bretons.
