Jean-Albert GRAND CARTERET (1903-1954), Norman painter of Cotentin, is known as a great painter of female nudes, portraitist and especially remarkable pastellist.
He was a pupil of Adler and Lucien Simon. He exhibited regularly at the Salon of French Artists and Independents in Paris.
