"Troubadour" chair

Paris, circa 1834-1835

Princes of Torlonia coat of arms in silvered ang gilded bronze, visible on the back of our chair.

Monogram AT with chiseled and gilded interlaced cursive letters, in an oval blue lapis cartouche flanked by two angels :crowned cipher of Prince Alessandro Torlonia. 

Provenance : collection of Alessandro Torlonia, Prince of Fucino (1800-1886), Palazzo Torlonia in Roma ; Ex-Roberto Polo collection.
