Large FLINT GUN signed C. Heime

Wood, golden brass and steel
Long. total: 66 cm; Long. barrel: 45 cm
Caliber: 13 mm

Eight-sided barrel then round with a thunder bead which bears traces of old gilding. It is adorned with a finely chiseled vegetal decoration on the upper panel and enhanced with gold.
The golden breech tail is held by a round screw. The plate with a flat body is signed "C. Heime ”in a cartouche surmounted by an engraved cherub head. The backplate presents an applied decoration made up of three figures including two chimeras facing each other, their language intertwined.
The hammer is flat, chiseled and held by a golden strawberry screw, the bassinet is golden. Guilloche and gilded screw, fluted fittings in gilded brass and decorated pommel en suite. The walnut frame is embellished with a gilded brass thumb piece, monogrammed GP
On its lower part, it presents the sheath where the wooden rod ends with a gilded brass tip.

Good state of conservation, wood without splitting.
The object is in its entire length.
