Painter and ceramist. Native from Canada, he studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Montreal. Assisted by a scholarship, he moved to Paris in 1948 to paint. In 1953 he joined the Manufacture d'Accolay, in the Yonne, where he worked as a decorator for about 10 years.
