<p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p> <strong>Salvatore Gallo</strong> was born in <strong>1928</strong> in Vittoria in Sicily. He studied in Turin with <strong><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlo_Carr%C3%A0">Carlo Carra</a></strong> from 1946-49. He then went to study in Mexico with the Mexican artist <strong><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Alfaro_Siqueiros">David Siqueiros</a></strong> fom 1955 -1957. </p><p> Born in 1928 in Vittoria, Sicily, he studied in Turin with Carlo Carra from 1946 to 1949. He studied in Mexico City with David Siqueiros between 1955 and 1957. </p><p> In 1958, he went to New York to make his first large exhibition at the Chiser Gallery. He begins his collaboration with his cousin Frank Gallo, a professor at Boston University. A large exhibition is dedicated to them in Tel Aviv, Israel, and in 1964 he moved to Paris. </p><p> In 1965 he was given an exhibition at "L'Académie Dufaux", Paris. He participates at the same time in the great exhibition "Fantastic Art" at the Langlois gallery in Paris. </p><p> His success then led him to exhibit his sculptures at the Italian Embassy in Paris and the Museum of Modern Art. In 1969, he participated in the exhibition "Since Rodin", and received the Bronze Medal. </p><p> In 1970 he received the Silver Medal at the Juvisy International Biennale, and in 1972 the gold medal. </p><p></p><p></p>
