Friday, December 3, 2004, during the Art Basel / Miami Beach week, the Wolfsonian Museum held its great charity gala. A conceptual artist Richard Tuttle was entrusted with the design and Martin Parr was asked to immortalize the evening and the guests on film. An order therefore for this member of the Honorary Board of the museum from which would come a series of portraits taken in the heat of the moment. All signed, these pictures went on sale the next day at a low price of $ 100 appearing in The Art Newspaper with the title: " Not another party! "
Bought from the Museum, the 139 remaining shots are shown together for the first time in the Galerie Verdeau.
