RAGE presents Frédéric Leduc "Illusions of another World"
Frédéric Leduc is a visual artist, born in 1973 in Lyon. Throughout his childhood he was passionate about drawing and painting. After having lived in Lyon, Denmark and Milan, training in photography, he came to Paris and worked as a photographer.
Realizing that artistic creation is more important to him, and no longer having the means to practice film photography, he seizes the freedom that Collage offers. He then joined collectives in artists' squats where he exhibited his creations at the end of the 90s, until 2006. Nine months in New York, an exile in the countryside and fatherhood later, he returned to Paris in 2019 in order to integrate the antiques world while devoting himself to his work as an artist.
“Frédéric Leduc rightly claims uchronia, which, in the philosophical field, constitutes a reconstruction of fictitious events, according to a historical starting point obeying the laws of its subjectivity. He claims the invention of a post-apocalyptic world. »
