Andrea Guinez

Presentation

Andrea Guinez specializes in the history of jewelry, with a strong taste for the avant-garde, from antiquity to the Bauhaus, up to the 1970s marked by plastic experimentation and the movements of modernism.

For Andrea Guinez, jewelry is not simply an element of adornment; it is above all a bearer of meaning, poetry, and history.

A history of creation, economic history, and the history of taste, from regionalism to the organic mysteries of Art Nouveau and the influence of the Bauhaus, which abandoned traditional materials for chrome-plated metals and the use of cut Bakelite. Here, jewelry breaks free from its status as primarily feminine adornment, becoming sculpture in its own right, an element of total and singular creation with unprecedented forms. A polysemous and transcultural social vector, jewelry is, of course, a matter of distinction and rarity.

Andrea Guinez demonstrates this masterfully through her unique perspective and her discerning selection of original and sometimes "out-of-the-ordinary" pieces.
