Horacio et Julia Portuondo

Horacio & Julia Portuondo

Presentation

The Portuondo Gallery, established in Paris since 2004, specializes in decorative art from the second half of the 20th century, with an emphasis on pieces from the 1950s and 1970s. It is run by the Spanish couple Horacio Portuondo and Julia Muñoz.

The selection of works primarily showcases French designers of the post-war modern era, such as Joseph-André Motte, Roger Landault, and Jean-Claude Farhi, but it also includes European artists like Gabriella Crespi, Boris Tabacoff, and Jean-Claude Dresse. In addition, the gallery presents contemporary designers whose work aligns with its core aesthetic, notably Clotilde Ancarani with her solid bronze pieces, Jean-Frédéric Bourdier with his marble creations, and Julia Muñoz, a jewelry designer specializing in gilded bronze.
