Born in 1963, Laurent Vanlian began trading antiques in 1983 by importing antique furniture from England, Spain, Portugal and Holland into his premises in Seine et Marne near Fontainebleau. In 1993, he moved to Saint-Ouen, to the Marché Paul Bert, where he developed a business specializing in antique 19th-century lighting and 18th and 19th-century furniture and objects, while taking a particular interest in the creations of the great Parisian houses of the second half of the 19th century. In 2010, he exhibited objects by Geoffroy Dechaume at the Biennale des Antiquaires de Paris. Today, he vigorously promotes furniture and objects from this period to major French and international decorators, as well as private collectors.
