Two AMULETS depicting an ANTHROPOMORPHIC COUPLE

Senufo Culture, Ivory Coast

First half of the 20th century

They both carry out the same treatment: they stand naked, standing on large feet, their fingers incised; the open arms stand out from a thin bust, their round head has small C-shaped ears, horizontally incised eyes and a short nose.
