Yakoma-Sango Large Knife

Large Yakoma-Sango knife, Democratic Republic of Congo, North Ubangi, late 19th century. An excellent example in terms of its age, forging, and ornamentation. It is surrounded by a guardian figure sculpture from Nepal, two Massim lime spatulas from the Trobriand Islands, and two oliphants from Central Africa.
