Straight Afghan or Bukhara dagger, called Kard, with scabbard
18th century Afghanistan
Damascus steel, marine ivory, gold. wood and velvet
Long. Knife total: 37; Long. blade: 26 cm

Integral forge, with a straight damascus blade, single-edged, broad-backed.
The handle with four plates in marine ivory, riveted and decorated with silver flowers. The top is provided with a lug. Remains of gold damask.
The scabbard, made of wood, is covered with blue velvet, and fitted with an iron snap.
