Army officer's dagger, model 1935

Steel, aluminum, resin
Long. total: 37.4; Long. blade: 25.7 cm

Double-edged, flat blade, marked “Siegfried Waffen”, “ERNST PACK & SOHN MBH WAFFENFABRIK”, “Solingen”.
Dagger called Heer Offizierdolch.
Inverted truncated cone-shaped pommel, chiseled with a frieze of oak leaves.
Twisted orange rocket, with helical fluting and a net.
Quillons ending in a volute.
Guard decorated with the displayed eagle of the Wehrmacht.
Swastika crown.
Aluminium scabbard with two bracelets engraved with oak leaves and suspension rings.
Double bail with wide aluminium braid with silver metal loops, loop and snap hooks – chiseled with oak leaves.
Aluminum wrist strap.
