Scabbards (saya) in lacquered wood, enhanced with a decoration in gold hira maki with motifs of paulownia flowers (kiri) and foliage.
All the trimmings are in shakudo with taka zogan decoration of gold paulownia flowers on a nanako background.
The kogai are made of bronze, and decorated with a saddle and accessories on a nanako background and for the wakisashi, a bronze kozuka decorated with a saddle and accessories on a nanako background with a blade (kogatana) signed and decorated with a chrysanthemum, which is the imperial flower.
The tsuka are made of wood, covered with ray skin, braided with beige silk.
The menuki are enhanced with gold and silver; they are animated by two armored samurai archers. One of them, hidden behind a stone, wears an eboshi headdress and a tessen war fan. The two warriors are armed with their katana sword, their quiver of arrows on their backs and their yumi bow. Their kabuto helmet is placed at their feet, on the ground.

The kiri mon is the heraldic sign originating from the Toku Gawa era and was first adopted by Minamoto Yoshi Iye.

The whole is in a very good state of conservation.
