Revolver with punch and dagger system, "Dolne" known as "Apache", pinfire.
Hollowed-out cylinder, with six chambers, chased with scrolls, stamped "ELG" in an oval representing the ordinary proof of a black powder weapon in Liège, Belgium; control stamps.
Bronze frame and handguard, decorated in suite, with 4 rings, monogrammed "JD" under a crown and marked "J. DELEAXHE BREVETÉ" and numbered "263".
Grid pattern on the back within a cartouche.
Dog without a crest.
Chiseled trigger guard.
Steel blade, four-sided with a central ridge; folding, with a locking notch.
Screw-on baguette, monogrammed with a "V".
Dual-action operation.
Lambert DOLNE, gunsmith from Liège (Belgium), inventor of the Apache revolver (folding revolver with brass knuckles, equipped with a folding blade). Patent of invention in 1869, 1870 and 1875.
Very good original condition.
