Model 1873 revolver, from the Saint-Etienne Arms Factory

Overall length: 24.4 cm; Barrel length: 11.4 cm
Caliber: 11.73mm

Pan-shaped then round barrel marked on top "Mle 1873", on the right pan "S. 1892" and on the left pan "F 91863"; stamped "M" and "J" respectively in a circle.
White polished steel frame signed: "Manufacture d'Armes de St Etienne".
6-shot cylinder. Single and double action operation.
Checkered wooden stock plates. Sling swivel on a stud.
All pieces have the same number and are hallmarked.
The mechanical parts have retained their straw-yellow finish.
