Necessary case with two Hill's Panted Self Extractor revolvers

Revolver No. 1: Caliber .380
Octagonal barrel, rifled bore, half-moon front sight mounted in a dovetail, marked on the upper right flat: HILL'S PATENT N°257, and on the upper left flat: THE STANLEY, with two control stamps.
Closed frame, marked on the right side: JOINT PATENT & Co and numbered C22802 with control hallmark; the left side is marked TRADE MARK, with the winged hourglass symbol surmounted by the initials Hill'S.
Single and double action operation.
Push-button release key with upward tilt. The system allows for collective extraction via a top-mounted bracket with jaws pushing the extractor. Six-chamber cylinder, stamped.
Finely checkered walnut stock plates; butt cap fitted with a sling swivel on a stud.
Revolver No. 2: Caliber .450
Octagonal barrel, rifled bore, half-moon front sight mounted in a dovetail, marked on the upper right flat: HILL'S PATENTSELF EXTRACTOR.
Closed frame; single and double action operation.
Push-button release key and upward tilting mechanism. The system allows for collective extraction via a bracket fixed to the top, with the jaws pushing the extractor.
Six-chamber cylinder, hallmarked.
Finely checkered walnut stock plates; butt cap fitted with a sling swivel on a stud.
Both revolvers are in excellent condition, with a 100% nickel-plated finish.
A walnut box, screwed shut, with a brass medallion. The interior is lined with blue felt, and the inside of the lid retains its original label. Lock with key. It contains a grease pot and a cleaning rod.
The configuration of this box certainly makes it a unique piece.
This collective extraction system was patented by Stanley Hill in the early 1870s.
