Long. total: 12 cm; Long. barrel: 7.2 cm
Caliber: 6 mm

Round barrel with rifled bore, blue finish.
Steel frame engraved with scrolls, nickel-plated finish, numbered "3173" and marked "PL Breveté SGDG" on the underside.
Checkered trigger, serial number "2172" and monogrammed "V" inside.
Steel handle scales with a blue finish.
Bail ring.
Seven-shot semi-automatic system.

Invented by Jacques Rouchouse in 1889.
Around 1890, Jacques Rouchouse succeeded Juste Escoffier as head of his gun shop located at 7, rue Villeboeuf, in Saint-Étienne. Juste Escoffier was the son of Félix Escoffier, former contractor for the Saint-Étienne Arms Factory.
