Gilded brass frame. Cap with bead and rivet button dome.
Short tail with bay leaf border.
Handle covered with sheepskin, filigree with twisted copper wire.
Arched joint arch, with a median ring.
Secondary branch, oval plate, curved quillon.
Hollow-sided blade engraved with “Garde Nationale” on each side.
Leather scabbard with two brass fittings, palmette button, one bail ring.
