Tilting barrel, round steel, with rifled bore and strong front sight.
Loading lever located underneath.
Six-chamber cylinder, operating without a central axis, serial number "12860".
Closed steel frame, marked: "STARR. ARMS C°. NEW-YORK" on one side and "STARR'S PATENT JAN. 15. 1856" on the second side; serial number "12860".
"C" control stamps on all parts.
Walnut stock with military inspector acceptance markings.
Single and double action operation with percussion cap ignition.

Model manufactured in 23,000 units

Very good condition.
