In its green shagreen case
Travel cover with mother-of-pearl ribs finished in buttons with winged scrolls, centered with oval silver-gilt medallions, silver-gilt bolsters with fillet decoration.
On the fork, there are six hallmarks including:
- doe-head discharge punch in use from 1774 to 1780 in the Metz Control Office under the direction of Jean-Baptiste Fouache
- master goldsmith's mark "JT" centered with a fork
- census hallmark in use between 1798 and 1809 representing the head of liberty: right profile of a young girl wearing the Phrygian cap.
