Compartmentalized lacquered wooden game box, decorated with plum blossoms, chrysanthemums and leafy motifs on the sides.
The lid is decorated with a mountain landscape with Mount Fuji in the background, the bay in the middle of the five sailing ships; on the reverse are depicted floral and foliate motifs in gold on a black lacquered background.
The interior includes four lacquered boxes with gold glitter and floral motifs, each containing mother-of-pearl tokens carved with characters, animals and animated scenes.
Removable tray.
