Magnificent pair of large late 17th century Haute Époque vases, Spain or Portugal, terracotta with blue designs depicting scenes of animals and urban or rural figures. Very decorative. They are covered with metal staples that keep them upright using this ancient restoration technique that disappeared in the 19th century.
