Exceptional Mazarin office

Exceptional Louis XIV period Mazarin desk, circa 1675, attributable to Pierre Gole. Very beautiful marquetry of flowers, ivory, tortoiseshell, ebony and precious wood on all sides. Leather-covered top with hinged flap revealing two drawers. Set resting on eight carved gilded wooden legs decorated with terms, connected by marquetry spacers. Dimensions: 145 x 80 x 71 cm
