Here is a magnificent pair of stools by Elizabeth Garouste and Mattia Bonetti, model Koala, with solid bronze legs, fully restored and reupholstered. Garouste and Bonetti began their collaboration and gained worldwide fame thanks to the interior design of the Parisian nightclub Le Palace in 1979. This model of Koala stool was designed by the duo in 1995 and produced by BGH Edition. Each leg is stamped BG. They have been fully restored and upholstered in light brown Teddy mohai velvet by Pierre Frey, an incredibly soft French velvet thanks to its long pile, which matches these stools perfectly. This is an opportunity to acquire a piece of modern design history, these iconic pieces by Elizabeth Garouste and Mattia Bonetti.
