Glazed earthen fountain, from Cliousclat (Drôme)?
Signed by the potter, under the tap: "Léon Valeçon".

Lenticular form on pedestal, lead glaze with manganese (brown) and copper oxides (green).
Applied decoration, crown of oak leaves with acorns around a central medallion decorated with a vine branch with grapes surmounted by a half-humped face of fauna, all surrounded by small spherical cabochons at the circular edge.
Original pewter tap.
Ocher pink-orange earth with traces of yellow.
Beautiful piece, good condition, no fel, missing cover.
