Description

Rare flycatcher / insect trap, on three feet brought back hot, ringed neck,
in blown blue blown glass - early 19th century - Verrerie de Normandie.
Nice work of glassmaker with pellet effect, some very fine bubbles, trace of cut of the cane of the glass blower.
Note that the Norman blue decanters and glasses are similar: the color and the technique is similar to the Norman decanters and glasses of the Bresle Valley in Haute-Normandie (see last photo), with a pelletizing effect in the thickness glass.
Good condition, no grain, trace of normal cut from separation from cane to neck.
Dimensions: 17cm x 15cm
Weight: 450gr
