The R3 chair was designed in 1952 by Jacob Ruchti for a Brazilian collective Branco e Preto.

It was created by a group of visionary architects in Sao Paulo in 1952. They used the best Brazilian materials. Their furniture expressed simplicity and lightness through the use of geometric patterns.
