Description

Large oil on canvas representing the famous Bayard rock, a rocky needle found on the banks of the Meuse between Dinant and Anseremme in the province of Namur. It is a Belgian tourist hotspot. The work is signed by Gilbert Maurice Hubin, Belgian painter of the early twentieth century. The table is sold with its large original gilded wooden frame.

Dimensions with the frame: 82 cm x 102 cm

Good condition, except two slight snags in the canvas (see photo).
