Revolver Smith & Wesson New Model N ° 3 Frontier, Single action.
Model produced in 2072 copies between 1885 and 1908, some of which, like the model presented, have been modified to receive the 44 Russian cartridges.
90% nickel finish.
Fluted barrel, 6 shots, 39.9 mm long.
Round barrel, striped, mirror interior. Precision handlebars.
No wear on the mechanism.
Original marbled finish striker. Screw heads in good condition.
Hardened rubber stock pads with S&W monogram, flawless.
All parts at number: 1432

Waxed oak box, with handle and on the lid an engraved brass cartridge bearing the inscription: P. DURET LYON
Interior covered with green felt, with a lid compartment. It contains a burette, an empty original box of cartridges, a screwdriver, a swab and a cleaning rod.
