Exceptional Louis XVI period dresser in marquetry
Very original work from the 18th century probably from eastern France and more specifically it would be a chest of drawers
It is worked in walnut and other fruit woods
The top is decorated with a beautiful marquetry in the same wood species coupled with boxwood and larch
These last two woods are typical of the work of cabinetmakers in mountainous regions.
It rests on four high legs with a tapered square section
Rare and high quality work
Finally, chiseled bronzes of good quality come to dress the drawers
Furniture with strong decorative potential, to be combined with an old or more contemporary decor.
