Description

With its structure in folded tubular metal, its backrest and its seat in nylon rope, this piece characterizes both the 50's and the first style of José Zanine Caldas, an autodidact always at the aesthetic avant-garde and in search of new materials to give shape to his drawings.Offering a contrast between the flexibility of nylon forming straight lines and the solidity of treated iron in delicate curves, this chair allows Zanine to offer us a reflection on the material and on our perceptions.
