<p>"The lovemaker”, a rare table by the sculptress Caroline Lee (1932-2014), made of hammered brass plates welded together, unique piece, circa 1970</p><p>Price upon request</p><p>Parisian by adoption, Caroline Lee was an American sculptor discovered at the Salon de la Jeune Sculpture in 1961. She created her raw material by welding pieces of metal plates, iron rods, and other disparate metals together. Then she sculpted them giving forms that could echo the piece by Boccioni, ‘The Man in Motion’. Her works are found in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris and the Centre National d’Art Comtemporain.</p>
