<p>Victor Jospeh Chavet (1822-1906), in the eighteenth century style, Napoleon III</p><p>Winner of a 3rd class medal at the Paris Salon in 1853 and 2nd class in 1854, Chavet was made a Knight of the Legion of Honor in 1859. In his scenes and portraits he showed a predilection for quality subjects.  One of his paintings, Promenade dans la Galerie des Glaces, was offered by Napoleon III to Queen Victoria.</p><p>Price upon request</p>
