American-made solid blond oak sofa, 1980.

Attributed to Thonet, this line of furniture was produced for American bases (in this case, NATO base, Vicenza, Italy). They were transported disassembled and then assembled on site. A slide system receives the cushions which are returnable.

The fabric has just been redone. This one is fixed on Velcro for easy washing. The left side is stained (stored in a damp place for a long time). It has been completely restored, the stain is not gone but the wood fibers are not affected.
