Small DAGGER called Dha

Burma, Myanmar

Iron, silver, wood and marine ivory

Long. total: 22 cm

Long. dagger: 19.5cm; Long. blade: 12 cm

Small dagger with wrought iron blade, single-edged and ending in a slightly bevelled point.

The rocket is two-thirds in marine ivory, carved with sides, while the ferrule is in wood, covered with a silver yoke with filigree decoration.

The scabbard is made of wood, decorated in suite with silver leaf and enlivened with a decoration of applied watermarks of rosettes and flowers.
